Web blog entry number thirteen.

We have just returned from our two week holiday in Sweden, it was great meeting Terje's family. Most of the time we spent in Terje's mothers summer place. She works as a guide for the Sveafallen nature reserve and we got a small tour of the beautiful nature. It is spectacular.We also went for a trolly ride while Terje's mom babysat Freya. I think at times the trip was a bit too tough for Freya, but she handeled it great, she has been growing a lot, her size 60 clothes are getting small! Funny to be home again. Holidays always seem to change me a bit, after a holiday there are always some "holiday- habits", that remain.

Those giant kettles btw were created during the last Ice Period by a fast waterstream or a rapid which made stones whirl around on the place. With time the whirling stones ground a deep hole in the rock, which is a giant's kettle.Intriguing hm?

Web blog entry number twelve.

Today I was at the neuvola's for my own check up, everything was fine, scar looks good, and the internal investigation showed nothing out of the ordinary, the hemoglobine test was good, my hemoglobine levels are 133, my bloodpressure 114/70, urine test came up clean and my weight is back to my starting weight.

I had a little concern about Freya, she has this little bump under her skin where the leg goes over into the belly, I showed it to the doctor, but aparently it was nothing to worry about, it was due to her vaccination against tuberculosis which she had had in the hospital, earlier there was this spot that suddenly appeared there, it looked infected, it worried me back then and I asked the doctor on Freya's check up about it, but that was also because of the vaccination. Everything ok...

Web blog entry number eleven.

A miracle has taken place, the cats have totally changed, they seem so much more calm, and no more sofa peeing! And the best thing, it didn't require any operations or medication. It required pheromones, cat pheromones to be precise. Seriously, the stuff is called Feliway and it comes in spray form and as a plug-in diffuser. I chose the plug-in diffuser and within a day, no more tortured miauwing, no more peeing on the sofa, no more frustrated cat fights, its a miracle and I can recommend it to anyone with similar cat problems as my Pimmetje displayed.

The whole winter it was there, with -20C, but no bird in sight. Now its warm outside, everything is blooming and insects should be a plenty, fresh greens aswell and guess who found my bird seed?
